Norwegian Cruise Line® Expands Port-Immersive Itinerary Options in Europe

Norwegian Cruise Line® (NCL), a leader in global cruise travel, has announced the sale of additional cruises for its 2026 spring/summer season, featuring an array of port-immersive Europe sailings across Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Greek Isles. With eight ships offering a variety of sailing lengths and embarkation ports, travelers can plan their ideal European vacation. These itineraries include bucket-list cruises through the South Pacific, summer voyages in the Western Caribbean, fall journeys to Canada and New England, and other captivating destinations.

NCL’s guest-focused itinerary planning introduces more seven-day European cruises, many with limited or no sea days, enabling guests to fully experience each destination. Select seven-to-14-day voyages include overnight stays in Reykjavik, Iceland; Copenhagen, Denmark; Istanbul, Turkey, and more. This season, NCL offers 22 overnight stays in Europe, allowing cruisers to enjoy late-night dining and nightlife on shore. With 11 unique embarkation ports across 10 European countries, including Helsinki—NCL’s new homeport—travelers have the flexibility to start and end their vacation in the location that best suits their European travel aspirations. Newly available Europe cruises include first-time calls to Portree, Scotland; Leirvik (Stord), Norway; and Palamós, Spain.

David J. Herrera, President of Norwegian Cruise Line, emphasized the brand’s commitment to offering guests various vacation options. Whether choosing seven-day sailings, longer immersive voyages, or cruises that begin and end in a new destination, NCL aims to provide a seamless vacation experience from start to finish, including transportation, air programming, and more.

Key highlights from the 225 new sailings include:

Northern Europe:
From June through October 2026, Norwegian Sun will offer a full Baltic season with seven- to 10-day sailings, allowing guests to embark in Copenhagen, Denmark, or Helsinki, and visit ports across Norway, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Sweden, and more. Norwegian Sky® will begin its second Europe season on April 19, 2026, with seven-day open-jaw sailings to Northern Capitals, and a series of 10- and 11-day British Isles voyages, including a debut call in Portree, Scotland. Norwegian Star® will offer 10- or 11-day Extraordinary Journeys in Iceland and the British Isles, including an inaugural call to Leirvik (Stord), Norway, and overnight stays in Reykjavik.

Mediterranean and Greek Isles:
Beginning April 2026, Norwegian Viva® will sail nine- and 10-day Western Mediterranean and Greek Isles voyages, including overnight stays in Istanbul. Norwegian Epic®, Norwegian Dawn®, Norwegian Gem®, and Norwegian Pearl® will offer various itineraries with late departures and no sea days, allowing guests to immerse themselves in destinations across Turkey, Malta, Italy, Greece, Montenegro, Croatia, Spain, Portugal, and more.

Western Caribbean, and Canada & New England:
Norwegian Escape® will offer seven-day roundtrip sailings to the Western Caribbean from New Orleans and Miami, visiting ports in Mexico, Honduras, and Belize. In the fall, the ship will offer Canada & New England voyages from New York City, including a debut call to Boston.

Immersive Voyages with Norwegian Spirit®:
From April to November 2026, Norwegian Spirit® will offer 11- to 13-day South Pacific sailings, and unique 16-day “Fire and Ice” voyages between Alaska and Hawaii, visiting bucket-list destinations across the Pacific.
