We’re looking for a Senior Manager Loyalty, Digital Strategy and Brand Partnerships (UK), 12-month Fixed Term Contract to join our team here at Starbucks UK.

As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for leading the Starbucks Digital Programs strategy building on the success of Starbucks Rewards and delivers proposition to ensure a leading digital program in all cases. In addition, this role is accountable for delivering key strategic partnerships that create fandom and engagement with the brand and build our credentials in this space. This role is accountable for driving commercial success in both digital and partnerships and active customer engagement and loyalty through continuous understanding of customer behavior and preferences in both areas

The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same! You’ll get involved in:

  • Developing and leading the strategy for Digital customer engagement and partnerships for the UK, defining KPI’s and targets to drive business growth in both programs and partnership
  • Leading the Starbucks Rewards loyalty program for the UK. Creating and the annual customer engagement plan and loyalty initiatives across all UK channels working closely with the Senior Manager Marketing and Category to ensure cohesive brand comms (spanning from instore, digital media, CRM, paid and owned channels and the UK website)
  • Defining the key strategic opportunities for all Digital and partnership programs, leading the business casing for LT and EMEA approval, working closely with the UK Finance team
  • Managing the contract renegotiations across all partners including digital delivery, digital vendors and strategic brand partners with key inputs from EMEA partnership experts.
  • Defining key business priorities and focus areas that deliver against the overall business objectives and KPI’s.
  • Leading the relationships with all digital and strategic brand partners in the UK in consultation with Senior Marketing Leads and EMEA Senior LLT leads
  • Leading the loyalty & digital relationships across 12+ digital vendors & suppliers
  • Building meaningful and productive relationships within EMEA Starbucks team and the Global business to support the delivery of the Digital and partnership team’s objectives
  • Leading the loyalty & digital customer analytics and insights. Defining key frameworks, dashboards to support in overall business financial reporting.
  • Lead UK Loyalty team and manage relationships across a matrix organization

We’ll look to you to bring your experience, knowledge and passion in the following:

  • Degree and/or master’s in Marketing, Communications, Digital or a related field
  • 10+years’ experience in the marketing of consumer products or loyalty programmes in UK / European markets, with experience managing teams or sole campaign responsibility
  • Experienced with or able to demonstrate detailed knowledge of loyalty or CRM programmes and the essential elements of their contribution to Customer Engagement
  • Experienced in planning, co-ordination and execution of campaigns and always-on initiatives, with excellent use of data for reporting and insight
  • Experienced in the selection, management and building of productive and successful relationships with third parties, suppliers and/or distribution channels
  • Able to show success in meeting engagement targets across multiple customer segments
  • Can demonstrate the ability to form productive and personal relationships with colleagues, senior management and external partners. Across cultures and despite long-distance communication
  • Practiced at representing their business with partners/suppliers
  • Creative thinker with ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
  • Able to navigate through ambiguity in a large, complex organisation
