Radisson Hotel Group is expanding its presence in Jordan with the signing of two new properties: Radisson Collection Residence, Amman Abdoun, and Radisson RED Amman Downtown. This development highlights the group’s focus on growth in key markets and the extension of its core brands.

Radisson Collection Residence, Amman Abdoun, set to open in 2028, will offer 128 keys, including 18 two-bedroom apartments. Known for its luxury lifestyle, the property will feature bespoke design, two dining outlets, and versatile meeting spaces, making it ideal for both leisure and business travelers. Located in the upscale Abdoun district, it provides convenient access to the city center and key landmarks.

Radisson RED Amman Downtown, also opening in 2028, will bring a dynamic, unconventional experience to the city’s heart. The 197-key hotel will feature a range of accommodations, including suites and two-bedroom apartments, alongside amenities such as a co-working space, fitness center, and multiple dining options. Situated near Amman’s cultural and business hubs, guests will enjoy easy access to major attractions like the Roman Theatre and Amman Citadel.

With nearly 5 million residents, Amman serves as Jordan’s economic, political, and cultural center, making it a strategic location for Radisson’s expansion. The city offers a blend of historic sites and vibrant cultural experiences, complemented by Jordan’s world-renowned attractions like Petra and the Dead Sea.

Radisson Hotel Group, already operating the Radisson Blu Hotel, Amman Galleria Mall, is strengthening its presence in the Middle East, where it currently has 86 hotels in operation or development.

Elie Milky, Radisson’s vice president of business development for the region, expressed enthusiasm for this dual opportunity, stating the partnership with Thabat reinforces the group’s commitment to expanding its portfolio in key markets. Haethum Al Buttikhi, Chairman of Thabat, and Chris Orrell, CEO of Bright Levant, also emphasized their excitement, highlighting the significant impact these projects will have on Amman’s status as a global destination and Jordan’s economic growth.
