Spread across 18 days from December 20, 2024 to January 7, 2025, the Resort’s festive program comprises a series of sparkling live shows, enchanting entertainment and themed dining experiences: a glittering Winter Wonderland tree-illumination event on a secret beach; a Christmas Eve Sing-Along Spectacular in an enchanted forest, where guests can dance the night away beneath the Maldivian moon; a hip-shimmying Mamma’s Mediterranean Medley soundtracked by lapping waves and fuelled by Reef Club’s southern European cuisine; an Orthodox Christmas celebration that blends tropical beats and barbecue specialities; and the all-singing, all-dancing New Year Kuda Cabaret bringing an opulent close to 2024.

Commenting on the upcoming festivities, General Manager Didier Jardin says: “We’re gearing up for our most energising holiday season to date. Uniting the spoils of our tropical garden island with the excitement of watching top-tier actors and musicians doing what they do best combines two of life’s biggest ‘feel good’ experiences. It promises to be a spirited spectacle of music, magic and meaning.”

Alongside the stage extravaganzas, guests can expect a showcase of the season’s finest feasting. Christmas Eve on Vabou Huraa island features a fiesta of live stations, from sizzling Singaporean street food and a seafood dhoni to hot canapes, carving and all the trimmings. Italian flavours sing out on December 27 at Reef Club with Mediterranean highlights including pasta, risotto, and pizza stations alongside mouth-watering sweet favourites of tiramisu, panna cotta, and gelato. A selection of succulent grilled meats and seafood, from wagyu beef ribeye to lobster tails, are complemented with zingy vegetarian options at the Orthodox Christmas Beach BBQ Menu, all served under a starlit Maldivian sky.
Other festive highlights for 2024 include Santarina’s Wishing Counter and Santa Parade for kids, an extended Showman’s Brunch on New Year’s Day, plus Pool and Cocktail Parties, Games Booths and a pop-up Speakeasy Bar. Further magic comes courtesy of inspired experiences, from a private outdoor cinema night complete with ocean backdrop and beach barbecue to a fun and interactive Maldivian cookery class. Guests will also have the chance to discover a mesmerising new menu at award-winning Baraabaru, fruits of a culinary partnership with “master of modern Indian cuisine” Chef Hari Nayak.
