Value retailer Poundland is expanding its rewards app, Poundland Perks, to both in-store and online platforms across the UK, backed by a £20m investment. Following trials in about 100 stores across the Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, and Scotland, the app is now accessible in over 800 Poundland locations nationwide.

GLOValue retailer Poundland is expanding its rewards app, Poundland Perks, to both in-store and online platforms across the UK, backed by a £20m investment.
Following trials in about 100 stores across the Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, and Scotland, the app is now accessible in over 800 Poundland locations nationwide.
Previously the scheme was launched in Scotland in June, where the retailer emphasized modernizing its digital presence and improving customer experience.

Poundland Perks offers lower prices and exclusive deals on popular brands like Lynx, Pot Noodle, Tresemmé, and Dove. As part of the expansion, Poundland is upgrading its stores with new tills and faster self-checkout systems.
Tom Hill, Poundland’s director of digital, highlighted the importance of this development, stating: “This is a significant moment for our customers as we introduce a digital platform that allows them to save, earn, and engage with us via their smartphones. After successful trials, we’ve designed an app that’s user-friendly and offers valuable savings.”
With over 500,000 customers already signed up, the app is set to reach more users across the UK. Additionally, a promotional caravan café, supported by Nescafé, will tour the country to promote the app, with more visits planned for the north of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland in the new year.
The investment also allows customers to use their Perks membership on Poundland’s website.
