Iberia (IAG)Iberia received the prestigious APEX- Five Stars Global Airline 2025 award in recognition of the excellence of the service offered to customers. This award is given by the Airline Passenger Experience Association, one of the most prestigious aviation organisations in the world, responsible for evaluating the quality of passenger service provided by airlines. To do so, key aspects of the travel experience are taken into account, ranging from the comfort of the seats, the service offered in the cabin, the food, the on-board entertainment system, the availability of WiFi and the VIP lounges.

The APEX Five Star Global Airlines Awards are the only global awards based on real passenger feedback. Each year, APEX collects and analyses reviews from over one million flights operated by nearly 600 airlines around the world. This data is then thoroughly verified by third-party auditors who confirm the authenticity of the reviews, ensuring the reliability of the information. This data is used to award these awards, with only a select group of 40 airlines being awarded five stars.

In this edition, the criteria for achieving five stars were significantly raised, further limiting the number of airlines that achieve this recognition. This award reflects Iberia’s ongoing efforts to position itself among the best airlines in the world for customer experience and satisfaction.
