The Opportunity

This role works under the Merchandising Team, you will play a key role in setting up the animations, instore campaign planning and execution as well as assisting Merchandising Head to manage and execute Sephora Collection within the Sephora HK omni channel distribution. This role reports to the Senior Merchandising Manager, and will be crucially involved in cross-functional collaborations to drive merchandising priorities.

Brand Partnership & Trade Marketing
- Designing and deliver launches and trade marketing strategy for assigned brand/ group partners in accordance with financial goals and category objectives
- Developing a keen understanding of the brands’ businesses, priorities, and products
- Coordinating all brand promotional activities and related events, including planning GWP program, both online and offline, with all key brands
- Pitching brands to join Sephora-led category programs and negotiate support on mechanics, sampling and promotions
- Analysing and report on Sephora and brand ROI for collaborative brand programs, animations and instore activities. Utilize data to make recommendations to deliver win-wins for both the brands and Sephora
- Identifying opportunities for new programs and partnerships. Build the business case to develop new ideas and innovations
Omni Animation and Campaign Planning
- Constructing an animation plan (brand planning and products selection) to set up an animation concept that meets customers’ needs, regional guidelines, new trends and sales to drive the Sephora voice
- Assist Merchandising head on instore animation planning for Priority Push animation topics; while being able to advice internal teams to adapt and localize regional animation content for omni channel usage suitable towards local objectives
- Keen understanding of competition, leveraging on best practices across countries to design a top of class Sephora strategy towards online and in-store merchandising standard across markets
- Support the Merchandising team on brainstorming and executing innovative retail concepts, customer journeys and brand experiences to bring thematic and category goals to life
- Work closely with the Merchandising team and relevant vendors to lead the in-store design elements and visual merchandising needs to meet thematic and/or campaign objectives
- Working with vendors and brands to set up all the guidelines and processes that are related to, but not limited to visual displays, store decoration, brand fixtures, seasonal displays, events, promoters, and staff incentives for Animations and Sephora initiatives
- Launching tenders to select vendors responsible for producing and implementing in-store design & visual merchandising, whiling managing the VM budget and project all controllable animation costs
Brand Management – Sephora Collection
- Assist manager to execute annual launches and animation plans from regional team
- Review planograms and animation performances
- Monitor and regular checks on Sephora Collection placement/location within stores to be in accordance to category principles
- Work with regional team on fixtures, stocks and merchandising for new store opening, store renovation and subsequent updates according to launch timing
- Review SOH with supply chain and propose action plans for SKUs with high stock holding and discontinued SKUs to manager and execute action plans to maintain healthy inventory
- Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure deliveries meet launch dates and campaign
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (regional teams, marketing, supply chain, ecommerce teams etc.) to execute launches and animation plans

- You hold a Bachelor’s Degree or above
- You have at least 5 years of multi-brand Management, trade-marketing preferably in the beauty retail industry
- Demonstrated ability to develop brands/ category marketing strategies with strong commercial acumen
- You are equipped with strong IT and database skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- You have excellent organizational skills and able to collaborate and lead projects
- You have strong communication skills with the ability to influence
- You are equipped with strong numerical and analytical skills
- You are diligent with good attention to details
- You are results-oriented
- You are able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
