Digital or analog: Collecting points has never been so easy
“With EDEKA and Netto, our reach is even greater, we are now on every corner. It’s the best PAYBACK ever, with the best PAYBACK app ever. Our customers have never been able to collect points from so many partners and in so many stores,” says Bernhard Brugger, Managing Director of PAYBACK. With the app, which combines all partners and all functions, it is possible to collect and redeem points and also make mobile payments. With 13 million active users, the PAYBACK app is one of the most popular shopping apps. Alternatively, customers can also link PAYBACK to the EDEKA app and the Netto app and use these services. Those who prefer to use a PAYBACK card can get the specially branded PAYBACK cards from EDEKA, Netto Marken-Discount, Marktkauf or trinkgut or, of course, use the existing card of another partner.

PAYBACK: the most popular bonus program in Germany
Germans love PAYBACK: over 31 million users and more than 700 partner companies are involved – Aral, Amazon, C&A, dm-drogerie markt, Fressnapf, OTTO and TUI, to name but a few. The partnership with the EDEKA network adds around 11,000 grocery stores and many more points opportunities. This pays off: 94 percent of the points collected are redeemed, either directly at the checkout or for great rewards.

A recent survey also shows that 86 percent of PAYBACK customers look forward to collecting points at EDEKA and Netto Marken-Discount. 76 percent say that EDEKA and Netto have become even more attractive thanks to the new partnership. 60 percent of PAYBACK fans even want to shop there more often now!

The launch is being celebrated with an XXL advertising campaign
EDEKA, Netto Marken-Discount and PAYBACK are celebrating their partnership with a huge advertising campaign. TV commercials on ARD, ZDF and the major private broadcasters, out-of-home and social media communication, colorized apps, eye-catching in-store promotions and the use of the high-reach PAYBACK platform via offline, online and mobile channels ensure that nobody misses out on the benefits of PAYBACK.
