Leading global hospitality company Hilton has today announced the signing of its first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh, a prominent economic hub in Central India. Developed in collaboration with Sage Group, India's fastest emerging business conglomerate, the hotel is slated to open in 2027. Bhopal, known for its rich heritage and fast-growing industrial base, serves as a strategic location for Hilton’s debut in the city.

Leading global hospitality company Hilton has today announced the signing of its first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh, a prominent economic hub in Central India. Developed in collaboration with Sage Group, India’s fastest emerging business conglomerate, the hotel is slated to open in 2027. Bhopal, known for its rich heritage and fast-growing industrial base, serves as a strategic location for Hilton’s debut in the city. Speaking on this collaboration, Er. Sanjeev Agrawal, chairman and managing director, Sage Group, said, “This partnership reflects our vision of enhancing the hospitality landscape in Bhopal and contributing to the region’s growth and development.”

The upcoming DoubleTree by Hilton Bhopal will cater to both business and leisure travelers, offering thoughtful amenities and exceptional service, embodying the brand’s signature warm hospitality. It will feature 229 rooms, making the hotel the largest in the city to date. The property will also feature three restaurants and bars – an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality restaurant, and a lobby lounge – catering to diverse tastes and preferences. With an expansive 21,000 square feet of event space, including an 8,000-square-foot ballroom, the hotel will be ideal for hosting conferences, weddings, and corporate events. Conveniently located near commercial and retail complexes, the hotel will be located 17 km from Raja Bhoj Airport and 10 km from the Bhopal Junction Railway Station, ensuring excellent accessibility.

DoubleTree by Hilton in Bhopal is expected to open in 2027, joining Hilton’s extensive portfolio of 56 trading and pipeline hotels in South Asia and joins recent openings in Gurugram and Kathmandu.
