ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Gamification and Loyalty Rewards Manager for Elfie, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative strategies that integrate gamification and loyalty rewards to drive user engagement and retention within the Elfie mobile app. You will leverage your expertise in mobile game design, loyalty programs, and data analysis to create in-app experiences that encourage Elfie users to consistently engage with the platform and unlock valuable rewards. Your strategic vision and analytical mindset will be instrumental in optimising the gamification ecosystem and loyalty program to align with Elfie’s global expansion plans and deliver a localised, personalised experience for users across diverse markets.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Strategy
- Develop and implement a robust global gamification and rewards strategy that increases user engagement and retention.
- Continuously monitor competitive landscapes to ensure Elfie’s gamification and reward offerings are innovative and appealing.
Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate gamification features and rewards into the product roadmap.
- Drive strategic partnerships with consumer brands to enhance the reward offerings within the Elfie app.
Analysis
- Regularly analyze user engagement, retention, and reward redemption data to extract key trends and adjust strategies in real-time.
- Work with internal departments (Analytics, Product Team, Country Managers) to coordinate the implementation of new global rewards and gamification strategies efficiently.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Demonstrable experience in building and managing gamification and loyalty programs in mobile apps or SAAS platforms (from a product development perspective), with a proven track record of increasing user engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields is preferred but not essential.
- Strong network connections with executives in large consumer/device brands globally, with the ability to leverage these connections effectively.
- Ability to analyze data to identify trends and pivot strategies accordingly.
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills, with experience in negotiating and influencing senior business executives.

Elfie is the first completely free, gamified mobile app that rewards users for monitoring their health. Our vision is to become the world’s largest self-reported medical record platform, supporting all therapeutic areas in a single, gamified, and free app for maximum impact.
We have a footprint in 7 countries (Brazil, France, United Kingdom, Turkey, Egypt, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Vietnam), growing to 12 by the end of 2024 and 25 by the end of 2025.
How do we monetize?
We have 2 independent yet synergic business models:
- Pharmaceutical companies: Elfie’s free application is sponsored by pharmaceutical companies, who need to drive treatment adherence and access anonymized real-world data. Pharmaceutical companies cover our company operational costs and the promotion of the application.
- Insurers and employers: Elfie premium version (aka ElfieWorks) is an employee health program sponsored by employers and insurers. These companies need employees to stay in good health and engaged to increase productivity and keep ever-increasing healthcare costs under control. ElfieWorks is designed and distributed in partnership with a global insurance broker and partner insurers.
