Breeze Airways has signed a new distribution agreement to make its content available through the Amadeus Travel Platform . The first-of-its-kind distribution agreement for Breeze marks a significant milestone in the airline’s growth strategy.
Since the airline began operations in 2021, Breeze has been using New Skies, a digital first reservation, retailing and e-commerce solution from Navitaire, an Amadeus company. The low-cost airline is undergoing a period of rapid expansion, which will be further supported by the distribution partnership with Amadeus, providing travelers around the world more choice and offering a seamless shopping, booking and servicing experience through travel sellers in over 190 countries.

David Neeleman, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Breeze Airways
, is an influential figure in global aviation, having previously co-founded innovative carriers including WestJet, JetBlue Airways and Azul Brazilian Airlines.

“Breeze is bringing something new to the aviation market in the United States, and through this partnership with Amadeus we will be able to leverage access to a global network of travel sellers. The opportunity will boost our market reach and ultimately, increase revenue across our airline,” said David NeelemanChief Executive Officer and Founder, Breeze Airways

Along with the distribution agreement, Breeze has signed to deploy Amadeus eTicket Server, allowing the innovative low-cost airline to distribute through the Amadeus Travel Platform as a ‘ticketing carrier’ and providing the technology needed for interline partnerships.

“At Amadeus, we are committed to providing the broadest selection of travel content for our traveler sellers customers and helping our airlines customers achieve their key business objectives.  The partnership with Breeze is more evidence of this commitment. The deal will bring significant benefits to travelers through online and offline channels, and will enable our travel sellers customers globally to offer enhanced choice with a seamless booking and servicing experience for Breeze flights,” said Rajiv RajianExecutive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Americas, Amadeus.

Since launch in 2021, Breeze has grown its domestic presence in the United States and today offers a mix of more than 275 year-round and seasonal routes between 68 cities in 31 states. The carrier operates a fleet of Embraer 190/195 and Airbus A220-300 aircraft, with a focus on providing efficient and affordable flights between secondary airports, bypassing hubs for shorter travel times.
