Sweetgreen launches sg Rewards

Inspired by guest feedback, the program lets members earn 10 points for every eligible dollar spent, which can be redeemed for menu items, including Sweetgreen’s newly launched Ripple Fries.

Sweetgreen has officially rolled out SG Rewards across the U.S., a free loyalty program designed to offer guests added value, exclusive perks, and a seamless way to enjoy more of their favorite meals. Inspired by guest feedback, the program lets members earn 10 points for every eligible dollar spent, which can be redeemed for menu items, including Sweetgreen’s newly launched Ripple Fries.

“SG Rewards is a reflection of what our community loves most about Sweetgreen,” said Jonathan Neman, Sweetgreen’s CEO and Co-Founder. “It’s designed to bring more value and flexibility to our guests—from surprise rewards to exclusive member-only deals.”

SG Rewards simplifies the path to earning and redeeming benefits. Whether ordering in-store, scanning at checkout, or using the Sweetgreen app for pickup or delivery, members earn points automatically. The initiative further underscores Sweetgreen’s focus on enhancing the digital guest experience, blending convenience with personalized perks.

Ripple Fries Join the Rewards Menu

The program launch follows the debut of Ripple Fries, Sweetgreen’s innovative take on the classic fry. Made from freshly cut russet potatoes and air-fried in avocado oil—without seed oils—Ripple Fries offer a crisp, flavorful side seasoned with salt and herbs. Served with housemade Garlic Aioli and Pickle Ketchup, the fries have already become a fan favorite, especially popular during afternoon and weekend orders.

Now, guests can use their SG Rewards points to snag Ripple Fries for free. To celebrate the program’s debut, new members will receive 1,000 bonus points with their first eligible purchase throughout April. Existing members can also earn the same bonus by placing an eligible order through April 11—enough points to redeem a complimentary order of Ripple Fries.

How to Join

Signing up is easy: customers can download the Sweetgreen app from the App Store or Google Play, or visit Sweetgreen’s SG Rewards page. Current account holders will be automatically enrolled in the new rewards program.

For the latest updates on new menu items and exclusive offers, guests can visit Sweetgreen.com or check the Sweetgreen app regularly.
