EG America is transforming its customer loyalty experience with the relaunch of its SmartRewards program, powered by PAR Technology’s PAR Retail platform. Designed specifically for the convenience and fuel retail sector, the next-generation program moves beyond traditional points-based rewards to focus on personalized, tech-driven customer engagement.

The updated SmartRewards platform aims to build stronger, more meaningful relationships with customers through real-time personalization, intuitive enrollment, and one-to-one promotions. Members can now enjoy tiered membership benefits, early access to product launches, exclusive sweepstakes, and more—creating value with every visit.

“This relaunch represents a huge step forward for EG America and our guests,” said EG America President and CEO John Carey. “SmartRewards is more than a program—it’s our way of saying, ‘We see you. We value you.’” He credited the partnership with PAR Technology for enabling more personalized and impactful guest experiences.

PAR Technology CEO Savneet Singh emphasized that loyalty today is about more than rewards: “EG America understands that real loyalty comes from influencing behavior and delivering measurable outcomes. With PAR Retail, they’re embracing a smarter, scalable approach.”

The SmartRewards revamp is a major milestone in EG America’s broader digital transformation strategy. “We’ve listened to our members and built a custom program tailored to their needs,” said Whitney Johnson, EG America’s SVP of Marketing.

Headquartered in Westborough, MA, EG America operates over 1,500 stores with 18,000 team members nationwide. The company is part of U.K.-based EG Group, which has a global workforce of more than 50,000.

EG America was also recently recognized as a three-category winner in the inaugural Convenience Store News Category Excellence Awards.
