ANA and Singapore Airlines to Launch Revenue-Sharing Flights in September 2025

All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Singapore Airlines (SIA), both members of the Star Alliance, have announced the commencement of revenue-sharing flights between Japan and Singapore starting in September 2025. This initiative marks a significant deepening of their commercial partnership, building upon their existing codeshare agreement established in 2020.

Enhanced Travel Options and Connectivity

The new revenue-sharing arrangement will offer passengers a broader range of fare options and improved coordination of flight schedules between the two countries. Joint fare products are set to go on sale in May 2025, providing travelers with more flexible and seamless travel experiences.

As part of this collaboration, ANA customers will gain access to 25 destinations across SIA’s network, an increase from the previous 12. Conversely, SIA passengers will be able to connect to 34 destinations within ANA’s network, up from nine, including 30 domestic locations in Japan.

Frequent Flyer and Corporate Program Enhancements

Both airlines are working to enhance reciprocal benefits for their frequent flyer programs—ANA Mileage Club and KrisFlyer. This includes the ability to earn miles on a wider array of booking classes across both carriers. Additionally, efforts are underway to align corporate travel programs, aiming to provide greater value and convenience for business travelers.

Future Expansion Plans

Subject to regulatory approvals, ANA and SIA intend to expand their joint venture beyond Japan and Singapore to include key markets such as Australia, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia. This strategic move reflects both airlines’ commitment to offering comprehensive travel options throughout Asia and beyond.

Executive Insights

Shinichi Inoue, CEO of ANA, stated, “This joint venture with Singapore Airlines is more than a strategic alliance; it embodies ANA’s vision to usher in a new era of customer experience that redefines expectations.”

Goh Choon Phong, CEO of Singapore Airlines, added, “With our extensive network coverage and industry-leading products and service, we can leverage our combined strengths to significantly enhance our offerings to customers.”

This collaboration signifies a pivotal step in strengthening the aviation ties between Japan and Singapore, promising enhanced connectivity, improved services, and greater value for travelers across the region.
