Emarat and Crypto.com Partner to Launch the Region’s First Crypto Fuel Stations

In a groundbreaking move for the Middle East’s energy and fintech sectors, Emirates Petroleum Company P.J.S.C (Emarat) has joined forces with Crypto.com to revolutionize fuel retailing in the UAE. This ambitious partnership will introduce cryptocurrency payment options at Emarat fuel stations and marks the launch of the world’s first crypto-named fuel stations, under the initiative dubbed Project Landmark.

Pioneering Crypto Payments at Fuel Stations

The first phase of the partnership will see Crypto.com’s digital payment infrastructure integrated into 10 Emarat service stations, with plans to scale across Emarat’s network of over 155 stations. This initiative allows customers to pay for fuel using cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, representing a major leap toward the mainstream adoption of digital assets in daily life.

According to Emarat’s Chief Retail Officer, this collaboration represents a key milestone in redefining customer convenience and showcases Emarat’s forward-thinking approach to innovation and technology.

First-Ever Crypto-Branded Fuel Station

A major highlight of the partnership is the unveiling of the “Crypto.com Emarat Service Station” at Al Ameen Station on Al Wasl Road in Dubai. This station is the first in the world to carry the branding of a cryptocurrency company, symbolizing a new era where blockchain technology and traditional fuel services converge.

Crypto.com executives noted that this move is a direct reflection of the UAE’s global leadership in the crypto space and its readiness to integrate emerging technologies into everyday infrastructure.

Enhancing the Customer Experience

Looking beyond payment, the partnership is set to deliver exclusive promotions and loyalty benefits for customers using Crypto.com services at Emarat locations. These features aim to reward early adopters and provide added value for tech-savvy consumers seeking modern, efficient, and secure transaction options.

Supporting the UAE’s Digital Vision

This collaboration aligns with the UAE’s broader national strategy to lead in digital transformation and become a global hub for blockchain and cryptocurrency innovation. By enabling crypto at the pump, Emarat and Crypto.com are not only enhancing convenience but also setting a precedent for public-private tech partnerships across the region.

Looking Ahead

With more integrations and customer-focused innovations in the pipeline, this partnership marks just the beginning of a larger journey. Emarat and Crypto.com are pushing boundaries, setting new standards, and proving that the future of finance and fuel is here.
