Waitrose Expands My Waitrose Loyalty with Uber Eats Delivery Partnership

My Waitrose members can now access offers directly through the Uber Eats app by linking their loyalty account. The new scheme is open to both existing and new My Waitrose members. Once linked, customers shopping via Uber Eats gain access to discounts and loyalty perks, with rewards applied automatically during checkout.

Waitrose has expanded its My Waitrose loyalty programme to Uber Eats, enabling members to enjoy the same loyalty offers they would receive in-store or online when shopping through the delivery platform. The move strengthens Waitrose’s strategy to meet rising demand for on‑demand grocery delivery, while reinforcing its reputation for premium quality.

Linking Loyalty with On‑Demand Convenience

My Waitrose members can now access offers directly through the Uber Eats app by linking their loyalty account. The new scheme is open to both existing and new My Waitrose members. Once linked, customers shopping via Uber Eats gain access to discounts and loyalty perks, with rewards applied automatically during checkout.

Surging Demand for Grocery Delivery

The initiative follows a year of remarkable growth for Waitrose’s on-demand services. Sales through Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and Just Eat surged 110% year-on-year, underscoring the growing consumer appetite for faster, more flexible grocery options. Fresh produce and healthy essentials were among the most frequently ordered categories, reflecting demand for quality food delivered conveniently.

Strengthening Market Position

Waitrose first partnered with Uber Eats in July 2023, and now offers around 18,000 products through more than 250 UK locations. Laura Burbedge, Director of Waitrose Online, explained that the integration with My Waitrose is designed to deliver greater value to customers, saying:

“Our on-demand partnerships have enabled us to bring our quality products to new food-loving customers. We now want to provide greater value to customers ordering via Uber Eats. To start making savings, customers just need to link their My Waitrose account to their Uber Eats account.”

Uber Eats Regional General Manager of Grocery and Retail for the UK and EMEA, Alex Troughton, added:

“Our partnership with Waitrose is all about combining quality with convenience, and now, with offers for My Waitrose members, we’re adding even more value to the experience.”
