Marriott InternationalMarriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s acclaimed travel loyalty program, has announced a strategic partnership with Shinsegae Duty Free, South Korea’s leading duty-free retailer, creating more ways for members of both programs to earn rewards and enjoy exclusive benefits. This collaboration marks Marriott Bonvoy’s first-ever partnership with a duty-free brand, bridging global hospitality with premium retail to elevate the travel and shopping experience.
New Benefits for Members
Starting August 26, Marriott Bonvoy members can earn 2 points for every KRW 1,000 spent at Shinsegae Duty Free’s online and offline stores after completing and picking up their purchase. Members can accumulate up to 1,000 points per month through this program.
The partnership also introduces tier matching between the two loyalty programs:

Marriott Bonvoy Platinum, Titanium, and Ambassador Elite → Shinsegae Duty Free VIP

Special Launch Celebration
To commemorate the partnership, a limited-time pop-up store will open at Shinsegae Duty Free’s Myeongdong location from August 26 to September 4, 2025. The travel-themed pop-up offers an immersive experience showcasing Marriott Bonvoy’s rewards and benefits. Visitors who sign up for Marriott Bonvoy on-site will receive a special welcome gift (limited daily availability), and members linking their Marriott Bonvoy and Shinsegae Duty Free accounts will unlock additional perks.
