This high rating underscores the airline’s unwavering dedication to service quality. Passengers have consistently praised Air Astana for its spacious and comfortable seats, meticulous onboard service, varied meal options, and up-to-date in-flight entertainment.
Zhamilya Zhaxybekova, who leads the Inflight Services Department at Air Astana, expressed pride at the renewed recognition, saying it reflects the confidence passengers place in the airline and reinforces its ongoing effort to maintain top-tier standards on every flight.
APEX’s ratings derive exclusively from verified traveler feedback. The evaluation encompasses over a million flights flown by nearly 600 carriers worldwide. Looking ahead to 2026, APEX is raising the bar: the Five-Star status will be reserved for the top 40 airlines globally (fewer than 7 % of those rated), while the Four-Star rating will extend to the next 50 airlines (about 8 %).
Earlier in 2025, Air Astana also received a Four-Star rating from Skytrax, continuing a long-standing tradition of recognition from the international airline-rating agency.
