QantasOneworld members Qantas and Malaysia Airlines have formalized a new codeshare agreement to deepen connectivity across Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore. Malaysia Airlines will add its ‘MH’ code to 18 domestic Qantas routes in Australia — including cities such as Canberra, Darwin, Hobart and Launceston — while Qantas will put its ‘QF’ code on Malaysia Airlines flights between Kuala Lumpur and major Australian gateways (Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney), as well as on services to Singapore and Malaysian destinations including Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Langkawi and Penang.
The partnership coincides with Malaysia Airlines’ broader expansion in the Australian market: it will resume Brisbane flights from 29 November 2025 with five weekly services, increase Melbourne and Sydney frequencies to three daily from late October, boost Perth to 14 flights per week from 1 December, and raise Adelaide services to daily from 1 February 2026.
