ADNOC / ADNOC DistriburtionADNOC Distribution, the UAE’s largest fuel and convenience retailer, has announced the upcoming launch of “The Hub”, a new integrated retail concept designed to transform the on-the-road experience for motorists across the Emirates.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC 2025), Bader Saeed Al Lamki, Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Distribution, said the event continues to attract strong regional and international participation, fostering collaboration and innovation across the global energy and mobility sectors.
“The Hub will redefine the way customers experience road travel in the UAE,” Al Lamki told the Emirates News Agency (WAM). “It’s a comprehensive destination that integrates next-generation fuel services, ultra-fast electric vehicle charging, and a diverse mix of dining, retail, and leisure options — all under one roof.”
According to Al Lamki, the first Hub location will open in Abu Dhabi by the end of November, covering an area roughly three times larger than a typical ADNOC Distribution service station. The company plans to roll out 30 additional Hub sites over the next three years, strategically positioned to serve local communities and long-distance travellers alike.
Each Hub will feature multi-energy refuelling options, including petrol, diesel, and EV fast chargers, alongside enhanced amenities such as family dining outlets, relaxation zones, and digital customer experiences. The concept aligns with ADNOC Distribution’s strategy to expand beyond fuel retailing into lifestyle-driven, community-focused service hubs.
Strengthening Non-Fuel Growth and Digital Transformation
Al Lamki noted that ADNOC Distribution’s non-fuel retail segment continues to be a strong driver of profitability, reporting a 14.7% year-on-year increase in gross profit, supported by rising customer transactions and diversified service offerings. The company’s ADNOC Oasis convenience stores and ADNOC Rewards loyalty programmeremain central to this growth — with Rewards membership now exceeding 2.53 million users, up 17.3% from the previous year.
The CEO also highlighted ADNOC Distribution’s ongoing digital transformation, revealing that the company is implementing over 20 AI-powered initiatives across its operations. These projects include predictive retail analytics, smart inventory management, and emissions optimisation, reinforcing ADNOC’s role as a leader in deploying artificial intelligence within the regional energy and retail sectors.
Expanding Network and Sustainability Initiatives
Al Lamki reaffirmed ADNOC Distribution’s position as a key pillar of ADNOC Group’s multi-energy strategy, with a current network of around 980 service stations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. The company aims to expand this to 1,150 stations by 2028, while simultaneously growing its E2GO electric-vehicle charging networkfrom 368 chargers today to 500 by 2028.
He added that ADNOC Distribution’s Voyager lubricants brand — now exported to 50 countries — continues to grow internationally, with a strong presence in Egypt and a target of 3,000 points of sale by 2026.
Financially, the company recently achieved its highest-ever quarterly EBITDA of US$319 million, with net profit up 21.5% year-on-year, underscoring the resilience of its five-year growth strategy. ADNOC Distribution has also extended its dividend policy through 2030, introducing a quarterly distribution schedule starting in 2026 to provide consistent returns to shareholders.
A New Era of Mobility and Customer Experience
The launch of The Hub represents the next evolution in ADNOC Distribution’s retail strategy — blending mobility, convenience, and lifestyle in one destination. The project supports the UAE’s wider goals for sustainable mobility, community engagement, and energy transition, aligning with the country’s Net Zero by 2050 vision. “We’re creating a new kind of stopover — one that goes beyond refuelling to offer relaxation, connectivity, and choice,” Al Lamki said. “With The Hub, ADNOC Distribution is reimagining the future of on-the-road retail.”
